- Do staff need a bank account to receive money?
- No. The AppiaStaff card is the account — staff can receive, spend and withdraw without any bank relationship.
- Can foreign nationals or undocumented workers be paid this way?
- Yes, subject to holding a valid ID (SA ID, passport or asylum document). We handle the compliance checks.
- What happens when a staff member leaves?
- You freeze the card from Nexus. Any balance stays with the cardholder — the card is theirs, not the employer's.
- Are there fees for the staff member?
- Standard scheme fees apply for ATM withdrawals; in-store purchases are free. Full fee schedule shared upfront.
